This is a lovely 6 inch Waste Bowl 4 inches tall by John Alcock Cobridge in the Celeste pattern. The bowl has no chips, cracks or previous restorations. It had stress crack from crazing going around the bottom foot med. crazing and staining throughout as seen in photos. This piece has been professionally cleaned and essentially restored to Excellent showcase condition. The picture on the bottom left shows a glaze skip inside that was revealed in cleaning. The mark reads that it was registered on October 5th 1846.
It emerged from cleaning with a glaze skip under the glaze done in manufacturing.
