PARIS NEW WHARF LIDDED TUREEN FLOW BLUE

This is just a fabulous Art Nouveau Flow Blue Soup Tureen marked "Paris" Semi Porcelain New Wharf Pottery, England (this is the 1891 mark). It's very clean and is in very good condition, there's 3 tiny nicks on the edge of the bowl and there was a .25" chip on the under-side of the lids knob that can't be seen unless the lid is turned over. A Museum Repair was applied and that has been repaired as shown in the bottom left, the later pics show the completed restoration to the finial...other-wise there's - no cracks - no staining - no color fading - the gold looks to be essentially intact - no glaze crazing and the colors are vivid and fresh. It measures 12-1/2" W from edge of handles by 6-1/4"H to top of lid knob by 8" D.
