An VERY HEAVILY FLOWN- Early Flow Blue plate in the Chen Si pattern by J. Meir circa 1845. Very scarce and hard to find , this is an elusive pattern! Measures 9 and 1/2" in diameter , a BIG dinner plate. Condition is outstanding with no damage or repair to report! Only the usual utensil marks found from usage and seen when the plate is tilted to light. Also, there is the typical crazing found in early ironstone china really quite light.
