Flow Blue Kaolin Ware , Rhine. This plate was registered on May 7th 1844 as marked. Produced in Hanley by Thomas Dimmock another early Staffordshire potter. The plate measures 10.5" diameter. It does have some age crazing , but otherwise it is in Very Good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
Scinde Flow Blue Plate 10 3/8"" c.1840 with 3 stilt marks on back as in most Flow Blue Very light and tight crazing but beautiful galze and flow. There is oneglaze skip on right front as seen in rollover and an edge fleabite that has now been invisibly restored as seen - does not detract from display or close examination. This is the first scalloped edge Scinde I have ever seen...Quite rare I think. VERY nice at good restored price.
