Warwick pattern Wood & Sons Covered Serving Bowl and Underplate/Platter
This vegetable bowl, lid and platter (12" x 6 1/2" x 4 1/2") have a beautiful design on the border as well as in the center. The white background shows the crisp design details. The bowl and lid have molded handles. The bottom of the both is marked with the pattern name, WARWICK and the makers' mark. The mark is Wood & Sons New Wharf Potteries Staffordshire, Royal Semi-Porcelain England. This version of the mark was used 1907-1910. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. This 11" x 14 1/4" platter has a beautiful design. There is a minor glaze pop found underglaze upon close examination as pictured. There is also an impressed WS -28.
