The Compote bowl listed here is approx. 7"x5" and displays very well. The handle on the lid has been restored and you can evaluate for yourself as to the quality of the finished piece through the many pictures. You can be confident of our finished product, as per the manufacturer: "The glaze system used for restoration has been specially developed for the re-glazing of repairs on china, ceramics porcelains etc. It cures to a tough; almost glass hard finish, which has excellent non-yellowing characteristics. The glaze is the latest and most advance system of its type and has been approved by museums for restoration work. It has excellent water resistance and has been tested for 20 cycles in a dishwasher at 60°C (140°F) without signs of deterioration." Pictures show abrasions to the inside which are not chipped enough to fill in but have some slight staining around them which I mention for accuracy.
